Even though there's hardly anything really related between Saint Patrick and leprechauns, leprechaun is one thing that people think of when celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

The leprechaun is actually a mythic character once thought to inhabit Ireland. Even though we think it's all about green on St. Patrick's Day, leprechauns were first thought to have worn red coats rather green!
