Simple yet helpful tips on how to write a story...

From the boogie monster to the magical flying bus, children stories definitely have a wide range of fans. It doesn't matter if you're old or young, childlike or mature, anyone can enjoy reading a story intended for children. And that certainly goes for writing your own children's story too!

A lot of people have great ideas but have trouble writing their ideas down on paper. If that applies to you, here's my advice:

Don't rush or feel like you have to write down the whole story at one or a few sittings. Enjoy the writing process.
You don't have to write perfectly either. Just keep writing.
Don't be afraid to show your family and friends. You can also share your story with us!
Try not to compare your story with other people's, especially professionals. Write because you want to, not to compete.
