How to Write a Story
Simple yet helpful tips on how to write a
story...
From the boogie monster to the magical flying bus,
children stories definitely have a wide range of fans. It doesn't
matter if you're old or young, childlike or mature, anyone can enjoy
reading a story intended for children. And that certainly goes for
writing your own children's story too!
A lot of people have great ideas but have trouble
writing their ideas down on paper. If that applies to you, here's my
advice:
- Don't rush or feel like you
have to write down
the whole story at one or a few sittings. Enjoy the writing process.
- You don't have to write perfectly either. Just
keep writing.
- Don't be afraid to show your family and
friends. You can also share your story with us!
- Try not to compare your
story with other
people's, especially professionals. Write because you want to, not to
compete.
- Just don't know where to start? Check out all
the ideas and guides on this site. Keep writing, don't give up.
